Yesterday really madness +++.

I had to attend a Dinner & Dance and Dexter & Charmaine's wedding concurrently.

All started a few months back when the school committee is rsvp-ing attendance for the D&D.

Intially nobody from the clinic is going. Then i suggested that why not all of us attend, afterall we have enough people to form a table of our own!
Somemore its free! Why not just treat is as a gathering.
Everyone agreed and all of us rsvp-ed as attending.

Good Suggestion huh?

I just shot myself in my foot.

Coz a few weeks later, Scott told me that Dex and Charmaine's wedding is on that day.

Vio: You sure?
Scott: Yups.
Vio: Damn! I got D&D on that day! I just rsvp say i going.
Scott: Hahaha.

I then tried to cancel the D&D side but was informed that they have already submitted the no. and cancelling now or no show on that day i have to pay $60!!

*faint*

So to cut a long story short. 2 events. Same night. Going for both.

D&D @ Le Meridian, Wedding @ Swissotel. So not so bad. Straight road, up and down.

As usual, i was late and in the end i've decided to fark care the D&D and head towards Swissotel. Was at the wedding reception when i recieved a call from Avia telling me that if i no-show i have to pay $60.

Arrggghhhh!!!

Everyone then told me to go for the D&D 1st, after all the wedding will not start so early.

So i cabbed down to Le Meridian ( faster than getting my car and trying to get parking lot etc).

Show face, sign attendance, took doorgift, took pics, ate 1st dish and off i go!

Cabbed back to Swissotel. (cab fare for both ride is $10 in case u are wondering - definately cheaper than $60!)

True enough, wedding has not started so i didn't miss anything!

The rest of the night was a blast.
Chatted with old pals, nice food, nice ambience and we chilled at the bridal suite post dinner.

The ironic thing is, i didn't get to take much photos with dex and charmaine coz they were so so so so busy! And i only managed to get this shot with Charmaine coz dex was busy entertaining his collegues.
