Guess where are we going?

Actually, Garlic got extra tixs to watch 陳綺貞 (Cheer chen) - A piece of summer 07 live in singapore! Story being him being a 陳綺貞 fan got the tixs even before knowing that he will be given complimentary ones.

Wahahhahahahahaa.

His loss , my gain. :p

I am not exactly a fan of her but i liked some of her songs such as 还是会寂寞, 躺在你的衣櫃, 太聰明 to name a few. Anyway i had nothing to do that night so why not enjoy a talented singer/musician's music?


Had dinner with some of Garlic's friends at this Macau Cafe before the concert.


Who's the fairy?


That's 陳綺貞! She looked so so so surreal! She reminds me of my Bohemian Beats Blythe!


I really liked the back drops. One moment its the desert, one moment is a nice garden , one moment it is raining and it conicides with her music.....* drifts away*


She is very into her songs, half the time she is having this look :) .
And she played the guitar while singing like for 3/4 of the concert? Uber talented!


Such a sweet smile, 陳綺貞 doesn't small talk much, she prefers to let her music and songs to do the talking. Anyway when she does, it is in a sing-song manner and drives her fans crazy.


The punk rock side of the concert. She sounds like a small little girl jamming with a full band.


She even came down to mingle with the crowd during one of her songs.
Surprisingly her fans are very well behave, no groping etc, just happy to take her pics when she walked past.


This pic has a story behind it. When she was in one of the radio talkshow in taiwan promoting her concert ( Singapore is the last stop) , the deejay told radio listeners that when she is going to sing 旅行的意義, they are to wear a helmet as to support the song, and if they do, she and her crew will do so too. On the actual day of the concert, the taiwanese fans are so sporting they actually do wear! So she decided for Singapore's tour, she will do so too with her crew!

Wow, if i do know of the story in advance, i would have came with a helmet too ! But there some sporting fans (probably her taiwanese fans who flew in to catch her concert) wore helmets!

The concert ended and the fans were reluctant to leave!! They (incl me) enjoyed it sooooooo much, they demanded an encore!

*shouts* ENCORE .........ENCORE..............ENCORE..............*Stomps feet, clap hands*


She did the encore!! Not once, but 5 TIMES!!!!

Which concert you ever went will have a 5 times encore??

And which singer will be so nice to not let her fans down?

It gotta be her. 陳綺貞. Cheer.

Totally hooked on this series man! I just chanced upon when one of the gals in school was watching and she passed me the entire series and whao! What a pleasant surprise!

Went on a WHY WHY LOVE marathon and finished the entire series in like 2days? Then i decided to poison Ser and Avia with the WHY WHY Love Virus and they are hooked too!

This show is those typical feel good lovey dovey movie. Rollercoaster of emotions coz in the beginning is like a romantic comedy then as it goes along will be something like a heartbreaking drama. But luckily it has a happy ending * spoiler alert*

Hahahahahhahahahah.

I like this trio's pairing so much i went to watch another serial called "devil beside you". Same cast too. Also got hooked and finished in like 2 days. :p

Really good way to destress. Beautiful cast, feel good storyline.

Wanted to watch this show SOOOOO badly that i dragged Smellycat to watch with me on the preview day.
He was as usual doubting anything good can come out of a Jay chou movie but to my surprise, he actually enjoyed it! :)

He liked the cinematography and music .
I liked the cinematography,music (esp piano battle) and of course Jay chou.

I remember long time ago in Nov 04 watching Jay chou live in Singapore, there was a moment where he piano battled with Yu Howe of Nan Quan Mama hence its a pleasant surprise to see an actual and more intense piano battle in the show!

Smellycat liked it so much that he was looking out for the Movie OST and grabbed it the moment it is out. It became our most played disc in our car's audio and i am listening to it almost everytime i drive.

BB Raine is always a classical music fanatic . Think prob due to classical babies / Bb Enstein's Dvds instilled her a love for classical music. When i drive, she wants to listen to classical music and will point the cd player to me asking me to change to classical.
Smelly cat had since bought the 100 best loved classical Cd thingy and we will always play for her in the car.

But now, the most played classical disc in our car is the Secret OST. heheheheheh.

Bb Raine's Fav track is 02 腳踏車, 05 鬥琴 and 06 湘倫小雨四手聯彈. There was one car ride she made me repeat these 3 tracks all the way till we reach home. How to? She will signal "no more" before starting to throw a ruckus.

Wanted to bring Bb Raine but lo and behold, some car kissed turbo's butt hence turbo is outta action for the weekend.

So instead of cancelling Bb Raine's gym lesson, i asked Garlic if he is free to bring Bb Raine to gym (with me of course) while turbo is under plastic surgery (again).

Garlic will not turn down a request involving his darling Bb raine . hehehehehehhe.

Apparently he tried to call earlier on but i was busy with Bb Raine hence i missed his call.

Hello...... Harvest?

Met up with Princess Kelene today. She wanted to pass me my birthday present not to mention we have not met for a long time!!

(actually not very long, the last time we went to watch ratatouille but it seem so long anyway...)

She just rebonded her hair and looked very nice (as usual)!

So nice that the taxi uncle forgot to turn on the meter when sending her to town.

Wahahahhahahahah.

Anyway, she is the one that gave me Rainie (NF) last year for my birthday.

She got Rainie during one of her flights to Osaka, Japan.

Rainie is a lucky doll, she've been to more places i have in my entire 28 yr of my life. I asked Princess Kelene if she could take some pics of Rainie in NYC for me and.......

This year my Birthday is really a combo.

Birthday + work ( PM shift) + Sick+ Smellycat's departure for OBO = 1st Sep 2007!

Like i mentioned the other post, i dread for today to come as he will be gone for almost 4 months!

Oh well, a man gotta do what a man gotta do. There is nothing much i can do anyway. Its his Job. I did my part by leaving so that i dun have to do this anymore which i am glad i did, if not i'll be getting ready to go to INDIA ( that is if i am still in SAF)!

Though Smellycat and i bicker all of the time, there is just that feeling that when he is around( in town i mean), i kinda feel more at ease and secure.

I still remember one of my 1st few entries in this online retreat were due to me missing him when he goes to guam for training and that was in '04! Time really flies and many things have been changed since then.

That was only for 2 weeks and i am going crazy. Now is 4 months...... i wonder how long can i last.

Wahahahahahahhahahahaha.

Though some people will think it is no big deal. Probably it is really no big deal anyway ( many people go overseas to work) but it is the way they travel, his jobscope etc which i can't help but to worry anyway.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss. Guess this is the outcome when you know too much.

Actually i was pretty composed till this send off part when we get to wave them off.

Actually after going missions, this is the 1st time i see this!!! Maybe all of the time i am the person going so i am pretty shocked to see this!

Emotions overwhelmed me and in less than 1 min, i am one of those ppl tearing too!

Big willy came over and kinda laughed at me, telling me it is no big deal and i should ok mah, after all i've been to mission too.

I just it is different when you are not wearing Green anymore.

Nothing much happened really, just dropped Bb Raine at MummyAngie's place , had some yummy noodles ( birthday noodles), napped and went to work.

Felt pretty lousy as i am really sick ( URTI with the works) and missing Smellycat already (prob due to the emotion rollercoaster).

Got a pleasant surprise when i went to work though.
