Zoolympics.

As Smellycat is leaving for training soon, Mini v requested her Dadi to bring her to the zoo (again).

Actually she does it like almost every week, whether he is leaving or not. Ha!

When we got to the zoo, there is some event called the zoolympics for kids going on there.

So i decided to get the booklet for Mini v and participate in this event.

Its like Amazing Race (minus the time limit) and we are supposed to go to each station and complete all the task there.

Mini v trying out the elephant station in which she have to put on PCK kinda boots and walk across the log. This is to showcase the agility of elephants, even they can walk on the logs.

This is not one of the station but mini v refuse to burge from this Jeep that is located in the "outback" region of the zoo.



Mini v: Mumi! This is like my Diego's jeep you know!


At the children's world, Mini v have to lug across a sack of dunno wat (quite heavy) to show the way a horse is able to transport heavy load.


Was given the instructions and she did well!
Not in record time but she completed it nonetheless.


Was looking at people feeding the goats when i saw this black billy goat.


Billy Goat is on top of the branch so that he can be nearer to the people feeding them!
How clever! :D

We then went to the reptile world where Mini v have to scale a mini wall to showcase a gecko's climbing ability.
Here is she attempting to be spiderman with the aid of a volunteer. :D


It was pretty hot that day and i wish i am this white tiger relaxing in the water.....

Anyway, We finished the Zoolympics pretty fast!
In 45 mins!
We completed all 6 stations all over the zoo in 45 mins!
I am amazed myself too. :D
I guessed that's what happens when you been to the zoo so many times.

While Smellycat went to get a strawberry cheesecake milkshake from Ben & Jerry's for Mini v...

I was curious and went to the information counter to check on the total number of times we have been to the zoo since we renewed the Friends of the Zoo membership on Dec 08.

And the number of times we have been to the zoo since Dec 08 to now is....

TEN TIMES!!!

Smellycat: Woah! Some people also never go to the zoo 10 times in their entire life!

After the usual net surfing and its time for bed.....

1st thing i saw when i turn on my laptop today.

Michael Jackson died today from Cardiac Arrest.

And the sunshiney Farah Fawcett died from cancer at 6am this morning.

I thought its a joke at 1st but it is not.

Its Transformers time again!!

So excited over Transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen and i am glad that it never disappoint me! :D

I give it a 4.5 stars coz i am a transformers fan! :D

I still couldn't believe it that Straits Time's Life gave it a half a star upon 5 stars.

Megan Fox for the guys, love story going on for the gals and the Transformers and action for geeks like me! :D

I really dun understand why the critisism on Michael Bay's fliming, the explosions and even the speed the transformers transform were not spared.

Geezz...

Just enjoy the show la!

The CGIs are damn good. I really cannot imagine that those robots are CGIs. They look so real! :D

Anyway some random stuff about The Transformers...


Went to the Transformers 2 website and create this robot of myself.
Quite ugly actually. Ha! :D


Mini v is quite into BumbleBee due to that Transformer Pic we took a while back in which she was wearing a Bumble Bee mask.

Now she keep saying Bumblebee is her. "-___-

Garlic sneakedly took a Bumblebee with him to Canada and when he knows Mini v is into Bumblebee, he sent me the following pics to show his beloved BumbleMui.

So in love with ToyWatch .



It started with chancing upon their Neon Plasteramic collection...

Ultra Violet, Plutonium Pink, Kryptonite Green, Atomic Orange....

Till now i cannot make up my mind which one i like best.

I love them all!

Even US's 1st Lady Michelle Obama wears the Ultra Violet Neon Plasteramic during Her Eiffel Tower Visit! :P


The usual Vio will get this one, most of my watches are all black!


But lately, friends are telling me to get this instead. Pink????

House Call.

A very lucky Dr Eraser got her Dr set as there is a sale going on at the Early Learning Centre.

Kampung Fun

After we had our Father's Day Lunch at Ikea with Papi and MummyHelen, Smellycat gets to do what he wanna do (Father's day mah) and he wanna bring Mini v to see fish ( fish farm again...)

Oh well, since it it father's day. :P

But en route, we chanced upon this Kids Kampung and decides to bring Mini v to check it out.


Feeding time! Losta hungry fishes (kois)!!


Smellycat telling Mini v 'pat' the fish and that they will not bite.



Mini v is happily feeding them after warming up to them.


Next up, feeding the goose. Mini v asking me if this is the same bird as the "mother goose" she have. Ha!


There are also ducks there.


Chickens and Roosters too!


There are also rabbits.


Mini v happily feeding the kawaii rabbits.


Mini v getting all excited and asking her dadi to come over when she spotted some tortoises.

After the Kids Kampung, we head over to the usual fish farm that Smellycat always bring Mini v to.

Its the same one when you get to feed fishes and to do some longkang(drain) fishing.

When we are going to the fish feeding area...

Mini v: See Dadi! That's the Arapaima (Gar fish)!

When Mini v said that, Smellycat looked at me with a smirk.
I knew that is his "proud" dadi moment.

Coz both Smellycat and i never expect Mini v to remember/ recgonise the Arapaima.

All the trips to the fish farm have not gone to waste! :D


In case you are wondering, this is the big kick ass Arapaima. Check out its size compared to my feet. That is my feet, not Mini v's. Ha!!

All the time we are there, they just go bahhhhhhh bahhhhh bahhhhhhhh....


And to reward Mini v for remembering the Arapaima, she gets a paddlepop ice cream from her Dadi! :D

And Mini v just gave Smellycat the best Father's day present - remembering the Arapaima. Ha!! :D
