Road Trip Continues(Part 2)


Told Smellycat i wanted to try some water sports and off we go to the Monkey Beach Hut to check out the watersports they have there.

Decided to try Jet-Skiing and Parasailing.

Jet Skiing was fun!! The guide took us all the way out but too bad no pics coz i am worried my Camera will fall into the deep blue sea!

Then its parasailing time!

After our "gruelling" (like real) watersports, we went back to the hotel to shower and chill before heading out for our seafood dinner at Delima which is quite near the harbour and Holiday inn.


Managed to catch a glimpse of the Sun setting while waiting for the food.


Smellycat super hungry and wondering why the food don't come any faster.

Our "feast" - black pepper crab, tom yum soup, stir fried bb kai lan, cereal prawns, Hot plate sotong and stir fried beef. All for $40++ ! (cannot rememeber exact amount)


Smellycat cannot take it and whack!!!


After a wonderful dinner, we decided to chill at the Hotel lounge.
And i saw this!! Its SHISHA time! And for $8 only a portion.
Never tried this before so i ask Smellycat (he tried it umpteen times) to share with me.
So many Flavors so i choose the most girly one - Strawberry! Ha! And smell nice too!

After the Shisa and the cocktail tasting, i bugged Smellycat to pack some supper and off to the Monkey Beach Hut we go.
It was a quiet nite and we are the only customers! hhahahahaa.

Didn't take much pic on the 2nd day coz nothing interesting , we just shopped a bit and eat and went for another round of back massage.

Then back to harbour and back to Singapore!

Princess Kelene is kind enough to come pass us our car and we went to pick mini v up (mummyangie left already) on the way home.

And we got for her 2 dozens of J Co donuts! Ha!
(Actually she ate only 1, Grim, Scott, Smellycat and me finished up one dozen! Ha!!!)

Though its only a 2D1N Batam trip, but i think who went with you makes a big difference.
I enjoyed the trip though we are bickering all the time! Ha!!

Maybe Hawaii next time?

Road Trip (Part 1)


Friends who knew us long enough knew that Smellycat and i had never been overseas together before.

Actually once and thats to KL for his Grandfather's furneral.
And Smellycat and i had been married for 6 yrs! Ha!


Find it unbelievable? But its true! Smellycat and i had our fair share of overseas deployments and exercises last time, it didn't really occur to us too!


So when he is back, we decided to go for a short getaway. But the only problem is, we cannot go too long coz MummyAngie is leaving for Beijing around the same time and there will be a problem of Mini v.... Hmmm....


In the end, we settled for 2D1N at Harris Resort at Batam.


Yes, its only BATAM. Ha!

Oh well, but better than nothing. :)

After a long Ferry ride, we are now at the Hotel Reception.

Smellycat's back!

Finally!! 5 weeks just zoomed past like this!

LIKE REAL!!

Been quite a miserable 5 weeks missing him.

Ha!


And Mini v once Smellycat is back sticks to him like glue and blabbers and blabbers non stop to him .
Seems to me like she wanna make up for him not being around for 5 weeks.

Happii Birthday Singapore (preview)!

Mini v got to watch her 1st NDP parade!

Its preview actually. Kekekekekeke.

It was a damn warm afternoon, not to mention the insane crowd and we ( Kebeen, Grim, Mini v and me) wanted initially to take the Goodie bag and leave.

But we stayed on and i never regret staying on. Its a Super nice Show!

The reason why Mini v is in Pink is coz it was a last minute decision to bring her along and she don't have any Red t shirts at MummyAngie's place! All at home. Hence Pink is the closest option. Ha!
