Avia and i signed up the kids for this event!
Totally in love with Christian Lacroix's costumes and since there is such a fun event why not involve the little ones and let them expose to the beauty of fashion!


Was slightly early for the event and its free play till event starts.

After the workshop, we went to tour the exhibition.


The costumes are so pretty!
But the kids were easily distracted coz there are too many going ons!!
I can't take time to immerse myself in it coz half the time i'm worrying she's running amok and being a nuisance..... mental note to self: Come agian minus mini v . hahahahhaha


The kids are so funny, they are making comments like the clothes look so scary... are they ghosts? Ha!! Maybe cost the mannequins are headless and the place are in dark colors.

Enroute.

Wanted to cab home with Mini v one day.

But was feeling adventurous hence decided to take the train with her and enroute to dinner at macs.

She is delighted when i mention french fries. hahahhaaha

Hate it when kids run up and down the train.
So i make sure Mini v is not one of them. :P


It was the opening day of Tampines One!
Decided to check it out and the crowd is SCARYYYYY.
But since we are there, we went up to check out Uniqlo.

After dinner, i brought her to Toysrus and let Mini v played to her hearts content!!

Smellycat came to pick us up thereafter and back home i saw this paper in her home work file.


Clean vs Dirty Heart.

Remembering what her principal taught her during assembly, i put it up and told her that every time she misbehaves i am going to put her picture in the dirty heart.

Dirty Heart meaning she have unkind hands ( anyhow beat people), does not listen to instructions etcetc.

It work quite well for a while coz she really tries to have her picture in the clean heart.

And she will get pretty cross when her pic got placed in the dirty heart.

She then went to "complain" to smellycat that her picture is in the dirty heart and can Dadi take it out for her.

Smellycat took the photo and passed it to her and ask her to stick it on the fridge instead. ( coz its a magnetic photo frame).

But Mini v is sooo determined not to be in the dirty heart anymore, she doesn't even wanna be on the clean heart even.

She went to hid her picture IN the fridge.

I was like wondering where photoframe was when i walked pass the hearts but she refused to tell me.

Smellycat suspected something's amiss and looked in the fridge.

True enough, it is hidden behind her ribena drinks.

Not yet 3 and she tries to outsmart the system.

Ha!

Beauty Treatment.

I think Mini v is gonna turn into those babes in gossip girl when she is older.

Or worse still she could do a Paris or Linsey or Miley on me.

I envisioned her with her ultra mini skirts , a high pony tail and smoky eyes whining to her Smellycat Dadi...

14 year old Mini v: Dadi, can you buy for me that (quote some limited)Lesportsac Backpack? My classmate has it.
41 year old Smellycat: What stupid Lepokpok bag you want? Don't be like your mother ok, buy what Lepokpok bag. Later i bring you go to Prada to buy.
14 year old Mini v: *gleeful* Yippee!! You rawk Dadi!!

Anyway, all these thanks to her Smellycat Dadi who thinks that an almost 3 year old should go for hair extensions and manicures.

I don't mind the hair extensions (its really pretty), but a manicure???

Was telling him that she might bite her nails and may ingest the nail polish.
And in a truly himbotic non responsible parent way he replied," Then let her eat la. If she's stupid then it cannot be helped."

And when i insists, he will tell her that " Your mumi say cannot la." and Mini v will give me the Puss in boots dopey look and ask me : " Mummy why???"

I give up.

So here am i reporting to everyone, Mini v's 1st manicure.


Waiting for her Princess' Nail treatment.

( She actually wanted orange just like her hair extensions. Faintz)

(Actually i think she is stoning....)

Mini v is so happy, she keeps on flashing her "beauty nails" to everyone.
And she is really a patient and well behaved gal when it comes to "beauty treatments"

Shower.

Mini v hates to wash her hair.

I don't know why.

She is ok with the shower where she have to wash head to toe everyday but subsequent showers (eg after playtime or a meal at a food court) she will refuse to wash her hair.

I'm ok with her not washing her hair but i still want her to rinse herself before popping into bed.

Papi found a very simple solution for us.

He got her a Stitch shower cap!!

Now i can get her to rinse without her being suspicious and all that i am going to wash her hair.
In fact she is looking forward to it! So she can don on the Stitch shower cap.
Ha!!

Sniffles.


Check out the mess on my table.
My nose is dripping non stop.
Clarinase, Zyrtec D, Polaramine all whack arhhh!!!
Wahahahhahahahahahahaha.

Poor Mini v got the sniffles too.
Mummy Angie gave her some meds and she was zonked out at 7pm++!!

I called her to check her out and she asked me this:
Mini v: Mumiiii....i got running nose.
Vio: Hiyooo * sniffles*
Mini v: Just now nainai feed me medicine u know?
Vio: I know. You rest ok, dun go and play ok?
Mini v: Mummiii u got running nose also?
Vio: Yah... mummi nose pain too.
Mini v: Mummii so poor thing, you got eat your medicine or not? Must eat medicine ok?

I smiled over the phone. Shes like the sweetest thing in the world!!!! :D

Sing Hosanna!

Not often that i get a chance to send Mini V to school without the need of rushing off.

So i hang around a bit to check her out.

Its Assembly day today!


She looked so cute getting ready to go to Assembly and listen to God's teachings.


She spotted me! :D


To emphasize on Palm Sunday, every child is given a stalk of Palm leaf to experience.
She is so happily waving it.
As if she is waving the Singapore Flag on National Day. Hahahahhaha


Here she is Singing "Sing Hosanna" and walking around the classrooms to pretend they are the Children of Jeruselum welcoming Jesus. :)

It really warms my heart to see Mini v learning about religion in a nice and fun way.
Though sometimes she gets really confused.
Eg:
Vio: What did Jesus Say?
Mini v: Jesus say sit down and cross your leg.
Vio: Faint. That is teacher not Jesus. Teacher tell you to sit down and cross your leg.
Mini v: I know i know. Jesus loves me!
Vio: Yes! Jesus loves you! :) * Beaming*

No matter how confused she is, at the end of the day she knows Jesus loves her.

Off Day.

Since Scott is flying off soon , we decided to go to Far east for lunch at the "Jap Uncle" restuarant.

But due to an unfortunate incident of the Lapin getting a flat ( in which it was damn wasted that i didn't get a pic of smellycat changing tire coz he threaten to hammer me if i do- hahaha!), i was late and we missed session one of the cooking.

Not wanting to wait and feeling damnnnnn hungry, we decided to go to the Yakitori restuarant at the other corner instead.


Had the Obento Set lunch.

Post lunch we have some time to kill so we were basically window shopping.

And we also did a very silly thing and started to snap whatever that caught our attention.

Recieved a call that the Ikimono Flash Camera i wanted to order for Avia's birthday is here.
Went to pick it up.
So so so so sooooo Red & Kawaii.


Especially the kitty, she has such a nonchalant feel to it.

Told Avia that i picked up the camera.

Avia: So do i get another bday present?
Vio: ........
Avia: Chey i tot i get another bday present.
Vio: I will give it to you as a Christmas Present.
Avia: You win liao.
Vio: Sandy- 1, Avia - 0
