LoEwe Means Lion.

Was in town with MummyHelen when we came across this window display.


Its a Lion Plush from the Loewe Boutique.

San-d: Wah! Mummy! U see! So cute!
MummyHelen: Yah. Look like dog.
San-d: Its a lion la.
MummyHelen: Oh! I thought its a dog.
San-d: ................

Guess people will associate me with all things Doggy!

Whahahahahaha.....

After our dessert session at Xu Liu Shan, we walked pass the Loewe display again.

San-d: Lets go in and see the elephant.
MummyHelen: *puzzled*Elephant??
San-d: Huh?? Oh yah! Wtf! I mean LION!
MummyHelen: Hahahahahhahahaha

What the hell am i thinking about elephant? Sometimes what i think and what i say doesn't match!

-In the Loewe Boutique-

San-d: Hi, Is the Lion plush on display for sale?
Loewe Salesperson (LSP): Yes, it is from the winter collection.
San-d: It is ok if i take a look?
LSP: Sure! *LSP then proceeds to the store and took out a Loewe dust bag out*

I look in anticipation as she took it out.

Omigosh! It looks so much KAWAII-er than in the bubble display!

LSP: Here you are, mdm. *proceeds to hand over Lion to me*
San-d: Thank you. * takes over lion*

I look at the workmanship, it is so detailed, the hair is so curly and soft ( in cantonese it is called liu-wyn moh: curly hair. heheheheh), the paw, nose and ears are made of suede and the body has the Loewe mongrammed all over it.

San-d: How much is it? *hoping that it would be less than $300 (or $300ish is the most i will go) so that i can buy!* * i know it is an impulsive buy but....*
LSP: * smiling*It is $550 , mdm.

*gulp*

My heart sank.

San-d: How many pieces do you have?
LSP: Just 2, the one at the display and this one, mdm.
San-d: * hands back lion relunctantly* Its ok, i'll think about it. Thank you.
LSP: *Smiles* Sure, you are welcome.

Nice things come with a price.

This one is tagged at $550.

So nice and so freaking expensive.

I googled amd found out that Loewe means lion. No wonder that brand decides to make a lion plush instead of the usual teddy plush i see in LV and Gucci.
