The other time i put up my neglected dollies for "adoption", i've gotten a very interesting offer from one of the forumners.

She proposed: To swop 35 pieces of hand made Blythe Dresses for a DAL.

Hmmmm....

After some thought, i've decided to give it a try coz as my Dollies collection increases, i've yet to get some decent clothes for them.

o.O Its a FishEye World O.o

This is my virgin roll of flim using the Fisheye that Smellycat got for me for my Birthday.

As usual, Lomoing always have unexpected results and though half my pics turn out crap and underexposed, there are some that are really nice.

And looking at these pics is really worthwhile and makes me understand my Fisheye (or Lomos) better and nicer pictures will be taken the next time round.

Study time!

Decided to get the series of Kumon books for Mini v.

Was overwhlemed when i was choosing the books but in the end i decided on 3 books - Tracing, Coloring and Early Maze.

Smellycat said that i am crazy to want Mini v to do her "homework" now.
But i beg to differ.
I find that it is good to let her start early on her basics, like holding a pen ( she can hold pretty well :D) and most importantly concentration and patience!

I envisioned that teaching Mini v would be a breeze coz i've been accompanying her to zoophonics lessons and all but i am very WRONG!

Mini v is like a worm squirming around at her seat.
That i have to tell her to sit still till i lose count how many times i've said.

I started with the Tracing book which is basically very easy.
Just connect point A to B.

I explained to Mini v. She nodded.

Then i stared at her, she stared at me.

...............

I asked her to choose a color pencil, she told me she wanted the Pink one.
Gave her the pink one, she now wants the blue one.
Gave her the blue one, she wanted to use crayon now.

"-_______- *volcano about to erupt*

I then told her to just use the blue pencil and hurry up and connect!

Mini v: Ok! Mami!'
Vio: Good gal!

*Another 5 secs of slience passed*

Mini v : Mami, this baby fish is muimui and this is mami fish you!
Vio: Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Mini v is just trying to stall time!! I also don't know why?
Its not as if she don't know how to draw a straight line.

Vio: Darling, can you draw a line to here? *points to point b*
Mini v: Ok!

Then i see her draw a circle on point A.

OMGGGGGGGG.... *tears hair*


After a long long time... what seems like a 1 min worksheet took us don't know how long to do.

My 1st attempt in teaching Mini v to solve maze.
It started with me showing her how to bring the Bb rabbit to the Mumi rabbit.
I told her that she cannot draw into the logs coz Bb rabbit will be hurt.
When Mini v drew the line and it touches the log, she felt bad!

Then she told me.

Mini v: Mami, never mind, i carry the baby rabbit and bring it to the mami rabbit!
*Attempts to scoop the Bb rabbit up and then place it next to the mami rabbit.*
Vio: O.o

At this point, Smellycat couldn't stop laughing.

Vio: Next time she go school then you know it is not laughing matter when you are teaching her to do her homework.
Smellycat: Come on! Don't you find her very innovative? Can think out of the box!
Vio:.......

Anyway, it gotten easier the next time round but she still have her non talk talking, reasoning, time stalling moments.

I am so happy when she did this all by herself!
She even knew how to stop and turn when she almost touch the bush with her color pencil.
What tickles me is that she still let go the "i carry the bb cat to the Mami cat" stunt.
Ha!

Its been a tedious start but at least she is catching on.
Nowadays, she will go and take her box of Stitch Colorpencils (given by Krisy as children's day pressie) and her tracing book, telling us that she is doing "work".

Anytime, anywhere, even on the floor also can!

Ha!

Was searching for some books at my Toy cupboard when i chanced upon this unopened Christmas card.


It was given to me by Garlic in Dec 05 (almost 3 years!!)when i was pregnant with Mini v who was known as peanut then.
(Peanut to woofie to bb raine to Mini v, She certainly came a long way. Ha! :D )


Garlic didn't know that whether Peanut is a he or she hence the Nephew/Niece term. Ha!


The envelope is still sealed.
Probably i wanted Mini v to open it up herself when she is older that time.
However, i am really curious so i tore it open and saw this really kawaii christmas card. :D

A Rabbit's Tale.

We recently adopted a Bunny from June's Friend.
This little furball will be kept at MummyAngie's place to keep Mini v company when she is there.
Not to mention the garden that this little furball gets to hop around!

Little Furball is really sweet! Very used to human touch and very docile!
If not for my furkids i would have brought it (i can't tell the gender) home.
I'm pretty sure my furkids will drive it crazy.

HA!

Furball: Do you think they will find me here?

We got a super headache furball naming session.
Kept disturbing Mini v, asking her to come up with a name for Furball.

Vio: What's bunny's name?
Mini v: Rabbit.
Smellycat + Vio: "-____-
Vio: Bunny is a rabbit, can you give bunny a name?
Mini v: Ku-sham.
Vio: ????
Smellycat: What kinda fark name is that??
Vio: That's the name of her Bunny doll at home.
Vio: Darling, your bunny doll name is Ku-sham. Can you give bunny a different name?
Mini v: Peacock!
Smellycat: That's the hamster's name!
Mini v: er... * thinks very hard* MR SUN!!

At this point, i cannot take it and burst out laughing!
Coz Mr Sun is a song she sings at zoophonics' class everyweek!

Vio: Why not we call it lapin?
Smellycat: That's our car name.
Mini v: Lapin!! Lapin!! *calling after the runaway furball*

After some time, i asked Mini v to call for the furball so that we can put it back to the cage....

Mini v: Lin-ka! Lin-ka!

O.o Simi LIN-KA???

Anyway, everytime we ask Mini v whats the rabbit name, she will go:

1. Ku-sham (no. 1 Fav!!)
2. Rabbit
3. Lin-ka
4. Mr Sun

Wahahahhahahahahahaha....

I realy don't know the origins of the name Ku-sham.
Its boggles both Smellycat and me how she can come up with this name.
(This and the fact she name her hamster Peacock. Duh.... "-___-)

Till she makes up her mind, to me this bunny is a furball! :D

Not as easy as it seems.

Was just gushing about the Rubix Cube that comes with the preorder of Jay's new album.


Got mine finally!
Went to preorder the album and was sooo happy!

Smellycat is a whizz at solving Rubix cube.
Though he is not as good as those you see on Youtube or those Rubix competition, but his personal best is 3 mins++.

So the usual smug him immediately grabbed the Jay Rubix cube and jumbled it up and try solving it.

Vio = "-_____-


Vio: I don't care, if you cannot solve it, you gotta go n preoder another one to get it for me!!
Smellycat: That will not happen.
Vio: -___-


Vio: OMG!! You cannot solve it!!!
Smellycat: Keep quiet la.
Vio: Music Junction upstairs ley ( we are at Tmall)
Smellycat: Shut up!!


It took him longer than usual coz the Jay's cube is not easy!
To give him some credit, not only you gotta get them on the same side but Jay's face must face the same direction!

Then i noticed something...



HEY!!! Jay's face is not facing the SAME direction!!!

I went crazy and started to curse him and all, at the same time telling him to go and preorder another Jay Album so that i can get a original one!!

Smellycat could not take it anymore and took the Rubix cube and try to solve it...

15 mins later....


Arrrghhhh!!! Another side also like that!


Now even the top is affected!!

Smellycat: Hiyah. The most you pluck out the picture and glue it back the same direction la!

Rainbow Hued Days.

A rainbow never fails to brighten my day.

No matter how crappy they are.

Wasn't myself the past few days, been bugged down by some medical problems.

Nothing serious though, just something asthma related but the little miss know it all in me scared myself silly with all the what ifs and what nots.

Thats the problem with being in the medical field.
You know too much and you tend to self diagnoise.

Smellycat: They are not call doctors for nothing ok.
Vio: "-___-

Anyway, i am huffin' and puffin' daily (my cocktail of meds not ciggies) and i hope to bounce back to same old me asap!


Saw this colorwheel of Ferragamo pumps and how i wish these are mine!!!


Not exactly Ferragamo but these rainbow sunshiney Billabong flipflops made my day nonetheless!
