Birthday Wishes.

The 1st birthday wish came from Pin on 21st of Aug. A message on friendster.

Next came fat boy jake on 24th.

MS one came on 28th.

Encik Johnny's came on 30th.

Jap on the 30th.

They belong to the early bird group. Guess must be the cake icon that is on friendster that people know that my birthday is approaching.

Jing wished and got me a gift on the 31st (coz we sorta celebrated at pepper lunch).

Xing wished me when we were chatting on msn regarding her nan trip.

At 12am, R4 came in the room.

R4: Eh. Now is 12 already right.
San-d: uh. ( busy surfing)
R4: Happy birthday ah.
San-d: uh.
R4: Wat uh??!! Your birthday mah.
San-d: Uh.
R4: Wah lau! What i do again? Now you angry with wat.
San-d: uh.
R4: *pissed* *storms off*

Wahahahhahaha.

Why i uh is due to the fact that my birthday to him is a matter of fact thing and usually he cannot be bothered. Judging from the way he say "happy birthday ah", seems to me like"At least, i got wish you happy birthday ok?!"

Not to mention that he kept assuming that i am going to party and kept asking me where i go party la, he going to devils la etc etc.....

So Sickening.

Nowadays, gone are the good ol' birthday cards and instead of it are emails, msn messages and sms/mmses.

So many wishes! And the ironic thing is that....

The birthday cards that i received were from ESPRIT, Sakae Sushi, Biotherm and M1 sunriser's club (with some discount vouchers). Whahahahaha....

Garlic asked me to tune in to FM88.3 (the slot he is hosting) at 1730hrs and i heard him analysing about the personality of people born on 1st sep etcetc....

He then read out a dedication from Kalipok(currypuff) to Powerpuff girl telling her that she is the best sister he ever had and wishing her a very happy birthday.

And the song he chose is Landy's 祝我生日快乐.

When i heard it, tears just stream down my face.

Kalipok is a nickname i had for garlic when we were younger. And this brother of mine, always knew how to make me feel special.

He certainly brighten up my day after how R4 managed to single handlely ruin it.

That is another story, and i rather forget about it.

It short, birthdays to him is just another day to him, so don't expect fancy meals or cakes or surprise presents or events.

He had this mentality : what you want for your birthday , you tell me and i will get for you.

Don't expect : *cover and open eyes* Chiak! Surprise! *then hands you the thing you'll least expect him to get for you but it is something you wanted very much and you will be super happy!*

Which means that i should have gone to school despite being sick. At least i will celebrate with my friends and i'll be happier. Instead of hoping that he'll surprise me with a birthday surprise and get super upset when he does nothing.

sigh....

But who doesn't harbours hope? Hope that a miracle will happen.

In my case, it did not happen and i was miserable from the moment i woke up till back home watching superstar.

But at least he insisted that i can watch the finals of Superstar on the big telly when i wanted to watch in the room. (Usually he can't stand Cheena song competitions).

That is good enough for me.
