HK trip is short but fun!

Summary of what happened:

Tue: Reach Changi airport, took plane, reach HK noon, lunch, went TST Sogo,Sogo having sale, grabbed discounted Les SportSac and other stuff, Back to mong kok, went blythe shopping (got losta clothes for boo!), dinner, more shopping, back to hotel - pooped.

Wed: Set off for Disneyland, ate dimsum @ yau ma tei, continue journey to disney land, spend one whole day there( till nite - where we get to see the fireworks), dropped by olympic city for a short spree then back to hotel to put stuff, went to steak house and had a huge t bone for late dinner/supper, walked around mongkok somemore then back to hotel - pooped++.

Thurs: Woke up, rainy day. But as it is the last day, we decided to shop to our hearts content. Went to causeway bay, had breakfast, shopped+++++++ , back to hotel to check out, proceed to mongkok to shop some more and to get our blythes, rushed back to hotel, board the transfer bus, took the plane, back in Singapore!

Guess we are really shopaholics.

We shopped like no one's business. See les sport sac having sale go crazy. See blythes that are cheaper then SG, also go crazy, we visit all the gift shops in disney land and we even check in early to go shopping at DFS. Whahahahahahha.

Which makes me scared to see my credit card bill next month *shudders*

Actually it is not so bad. I only use my credit card when i ran out of HKD on the last day afternoon.

So it is quite controlled actually. :op

Queuing to watch the show is sooooo terrible (in fact, queuing to watch all the shows were soooo terrible, crowd+pushing+smelly ppl), but watching it makes it worthwhile. We left feeling happy and with a silly grin on our faces.

This trip's really great and its a wonderful break for me before going back to work. Come to think of it, i've never been for a holiday for years! Everytime i get to go overseas is due to mission.

My 2 mummies for taking care of my darling bb raine so that i can go for this trip.

Family Outing

The 3 of us went out for lunch with Norman, Frances, Wendy, Jackson yesterday.

The lunch was not bad and using UOB credit card, you get 50% off ! Thats so cool!

1st time meeting wendy though we talk about blythe a lot. Hahahahahahah. The way R4 talk rubbish, i think she is quiet traumatised by him. hahahahahhahahaa

After lunch, we went groceries shopping abit around chinatown before heading down to the LIME flea market to check it out!

But sad to say nothing spectacular sooo we went to a HK cafe to rest and to feed bb raine her milk.

R4: Next week go HK not enough, still wanna eat here.

After chilling out at the cafe, decided to pop over to taka to "walk walk".

Chanced upon this painting thingy that is like for charity. All you need to do is to donate $5 and you get to paint a square of their canvas.

R4 wanted to write "da bian" (shit in chinese) on the square but i stopped him. I cannot imagine if he really writes that on the square it'll be super embarassing. :P

I took over the brush and paint and was at a loss of what to draw, R4 then ask me to draw a cat.

San-d: Cat?

R4: Yah, draw a pussycat.

Anyway i have no idea why he wans me to draw a cat but its ok. Probably it is due him calling bb raine a pussycat.

Got bitten by the Pullip bug when i chance upon this Pullip doll named Greggia. She look so sweet!! Then i went on ebay and yahoo to check out pullips and found a Greggia for sale!

The price a steal but the only condition is that i need to pick up the doll from the seller @ potong pasir(pp) MRT.

Since PP MRT is along the north east line, it should not be much of a problem for me.

But i made a HUGE mistake telling R4.
I asked him to buy for me as an anniversary present.

Not only he didn't buy me the doll but he gave me a big lecture about not getting the pullip.

Example:

R4: Can you please stop buying dolls! Once you start you can't stop! Do you rememeber what happened to the Blythes?
San-d: ............. (loss for words. Guilty as charged)

And to rub salt into the wound, R4 will purposely go home from town using the Upper Serangoon Exit and drive past PP Mrt and say things like : Hey, its PP Mrt and then purposely zoom past the station.

I actually promised the seller that i wanna get the doll from him (its a guy collector) and i thought i could till R4 spoil my plans.

Even when i said i will pay for it myself, he will nag and nag and nag.

Geeezzzz......

Almost gave up the thought about getting the Pullip.

The final straw came when he stopped @ compasspoint to deposit some money. He turned to me and said, "You don't abandon the Bb in the car and take Mrt to PP Mrt huh, maybe you will, i think i better not deposit the money la".

That's it.

He taunted me enough.

I've decided to buy the doll and i smsed the seller to mail the doll to my house via registered mail instead.

Hehehhehehehehehehheehhehehehehe.

So, there are many ways to get the doll!

He forgot there is something called the SINGAPORE POST!

Wahahahahahhahahahahahha.

I told MummyHelen about what happened, how R4 tried to ruin my plans to get the doll and how i counter reacted, MummyHelen said sometime more brillant.

MummyHelen: Hiya, you very silly. Why waste money on postage, i can collect the doll for you after work.
San-d: No la, so troublesome.
MummyHelen: Where got troublesome? I board from Boon Keng MRT. So near PP Mrt.
San-d: Oh ya!!!! That will be great!

Hence, not only i save money on postage, i can get to see my doll that very night!



My New Pullip - Greggia. Decided to call her Gabrielle (after my fav Desprate housewife) instead. Gabby for short.

Anyway, i think i wouldn't have gotten Gabby if R4 didn't disturb me. Or if would be extra special if he gotten me Gabby for our 4th yr anniversay.

Oh well, either way i am happy that i bought Gabby coz she is such a babe!

Have it been 4 years already??????

10th July is our 4th year wedding anniversary.

Time flies.

So many things had happened since 10th july 2002 and of course this year's anniversary is extra special due to our latest addition : Bb violet raine. :o)

We decided to go out for a nice dinner (since 10th JUL is also bonus day-can spulrge a bit) but cannot decide on the venue for dinner.

I suggested we go for lunch instead as i could get my mum to BBsit raine for the afternoon. But r4 shocked me by saying that why can't we bring her along too?!!

I was kinda hesitant as i really dunno where can we eat that is special and bb friendly at the same time. He wanted to go tarven or just steak but i think restuarants like that dun really welcome 6 weeks old bb in stroller.

R4:Dun care bb friendly or not, just name a place and we go there to eat la.
San-d: How about sun& moon jap rest at wheel lock place?
R4: Ok.* Already driving towards town*
San-d: Wait, wait, how about the buffet @ mandarin hotel? I forgot the rest name though.
R4: Don't have la. close down liao.
San-d: Have!!! Dun be kanasai la, the fondue's superb!
R4: But go there i have to kiss my 3X $50 byebye!! (buffet's @ $55 +++ each)
San-d: I pay lah!!!!
R4: Don't want!!!! Just stick to where you say first ok?
San-d: Ok *sulks*

But i'm in for a pleasant surprise when i see him turn into mandarin hotel's carpark.

R4: Bring you go triple tree to eat lah.
San-d: huh??!! Really?
R4: Yah. Better than go wheellock. Go there, not only i will use up 2X$50, you will ask me buy doll ( coz there is a toy shop there which sells Blythes)for you then it will be another 3x$50 gone.
San-d: ................*speechless*

Luckily Bb raine didn't really wail or create a ruckus but she just whine and make those eek eek sounds so we didn't really disturb the rest of of the partons in the restuarant. It is not so bad to bring a Bb out, we just need plenty of coordination and cooperation!
