Who remembers Rosaline?

Been watching "Princess Hours" (Korean Drama) hence the lack of updates.

Simply love the cast (handsome guys and pretty girls), the set (colorful, royal setting), clothes and of course the story.

I'm a sucker for dramas (be it watever country) that are based on comics or manga. Probably i love to read comics and when i get to see the story comes to life, it makes me wanna see the drama more!

Just like meteor garden, it started with a kiss, mars etcetc.

There is one part in princess hours which leaves a deep impression on me.

Its when hyo-jin asked shin if he remembers rosaline.

Shin is the crown prince and the lead character in the show and Hyo-Jin is his ex gf.

Hyo-jin said that in Romeo and Juliet, people only remembers the love between Romeo and Juliet.

No one ever remembers Rosaline.

(Actually i was thinking who the hell is rosaline too - hahaahhahahaha)

She then goes on explaining that Rosaline is Romeo's first love who rejected him and caused him to be so heartbroken. He then goes to a party and it was love at 1st sight for him and Juliet and the rest is history.

People gushed about how it is true love for Romeo and Juliet, they are the greatest lovers but isn't it just love at sight? That it could probably be just a crush?

Who remembers Rosaline then? Whats her reason for rejecting Romeo? Who knows how heartbroken she is when she get to know Romeo died, or rather Romeo's change of heart.

She then turn to Shin and said ," Is that true, my Romeo?"

I could've sworn that at that point of time when i heard it from her, my heart twinge a bit.

How sad but true.
