Missed the good ol' days.

Though Qing Ming festival is this coming week, my family decided to go pray on sunday, which is today.

This year is a bit different.

I get to be the designated driver to ferry them around.
Actually i volunteered without hesitating.

Reason? I cannot take it if they go in my brother's van. Hehhehhehehehehhee

Call me a sucker for speed, and to go to the bright hill thingy place at 60-70km/h (not to metion the jam.), i will go crazy.

Noticed that as the years go by, lesser and lesser people turn up for the praying session. Even grandma ( Papi's side) is too ill to travel to pray.

Sighz.

Actually hearing the updates regarding the Wong family's saga, i feel that things are so different.
But oh well, time wait for no man and people change.
That's the reality of life.

Heard that Fat Boy Jake told Papi to shut up after Papi told him to stop shouting at Auntie Lisa at the coffeeshop ( apparently they had a misunderstanding).

Can't believe the FBJ did that.

And if i am there, i will slap that FBJ into outer space for shouting at my Papi. (no one gets to do that except garlic and me!!! Its over previledge as his kids!!! Joking. Hehheh)

And FBJ is lucky that Papi never crack his jaw. (Papi's punch packed with power, don't play play.)

Anyway, Auntie Lisa say it is ok to let FBJ to rant on and we to keep quiet, her rationale being that it is embarassing enough for her that FBJ is ranting in the public, we don't wanna stoop as low as his level . Auntie Susie says that let him go on, explain to him later when things cooled down and he'll understand.

I don't agree.

I think that by not nipping him at the bud ( which is to slap some sense into him), he will go on to think that it is ok to create a ruckus and the seniors by keeping quiet is percieved by him as they are scared of him. Explain things to him when he cool down? Why not when you murder someone, you explain to him later that it is wrong and he apologise and things will be as before.

HARROW! Wait up the farking idea.

In the 1st place, he should not be doing it in the 1st place! You do not shout in the public at your auntie/godma watever. This is basic manners. Where is the basic manners in the 1st place? That is ULTIMATE BRATTY behavior. And FBJ is 19 year old young man! He is not a 19 mth old toddler.

Geez.
Maybe 6 years of SAF changed me.

Enough of this FBJ Mambo Jambo.

Though my family is not perfect and it may be dysfunctional at times, but at least Papi and Mummy Helen taught Garlic and i proper values.

And it can be evident in the things we do now.
